Abbey take a good result against Byfleet Vipers

Abbey hosted Byfleet Vipers in a tie that has history with Abbey meeting Byfleet twice last season and drawing both times. Byfleet are a good outfit with strong players but in the managers absence, the Abbey boys went on to get a good victory over our neighbors.

The game was described as the best team performance Abbey has ever had with outstanding performances from all but particulalry Aidan, who had the best game of his football career so far keeping another clean sheet.

The first half was hard fought with just 1 goal, but the second half saw Abbey come out and finish the game off in style.

This win now sees Abbey placed second in the league.
