Wantage Ladies v Abbey Rangers 1st

A long travel away to Wantage on a sunny day, we arrived at 13.10 for kick off at 14.00
Abbey started slowly and did not really produce our good standard of passing football, Abbey had more of the chances then finally the ball dropped to Beth E who struck first time and the ball hit the top corner of the net [Half Time 0-1] to Abbey

The second half still did not get much better then in the 74th minute Becca for Abbey broke through towards goal, A Wantage player based her down and what appeared to be her studs getting caught in the Abbey players boot or laces, she went down and was in real pain. A ambulance was called but took some 90 minutes to arrive so the decision by the Referee was Match Abandoned, We will await the League's decision.
