Abbey Ladies [Div 1] v Woodley Ladies [Prem]

The Abbey Ladies 2nd Match again was against a team from the Premiership Division.

Abbey Ladies played fantastic today and really raised their game as fitness from last week was clear to see, Abbey scored first with Isi hitting the post then Megan Mcg following it up and driving the ball home from a tight angle. Right on half time Woodley had a corner it was cleared but just out of play for another corner ...Would their be time, corner taken a scramble in our box then they poked the ball into the net . Straight away the half time whistle goes.
The 2nd half Abbey had several chances but did not take them, Woodley 25 minutes in got a penalty but their player struck the ball wide of the goal. Both sides had chances but game ended 1-1.
